Thank You for Investing in New York City's Libraries!

Thanks to over 100,000 letters, sticky notes, calls, and tweets from you and other library supporters, Mayor Bill de Blasio, City Council Speaker Corey Johnson, and the City Council agreed today to invest in libraries. Together, City leaders passed a new budget that includes at least $33 million operating funding. With this City funding, we can keep our branches going strong, including during evening and weekends when millions of New Yorkers rely on our critical services.
